Insomnio is the journey of 11 instruments through a night when sleep just won't come. The feelings of despair and irritation that arise during such wakeful hours are musically represented in the score by a number of blocks of different character. Sometimes there are clear melodic lines and a pulsating movement, while at other times the music fragments into musical clouds of sound in which each instrument seems to go its own way. The instrumental line-up of Insomnio provides a very diverse musical color palette in all this.
